    I Gotchu ; Passkowski

It’s your friendly neighborhood Maddenhead, back at it again with another I Gotchu. This weeks Tourney focuses on the art of release. The defensive will be slightly tougher and is going to come straight for your Qback. So forget the scrambling and pass straight to your tight end.

The idea is the same as last weeks, drop your picks on an all elite defensive with the exception of an elite QB and TE.

With this strategy I was able to destroy the first 10 opponents in a row without even breaking a sweat. Once your opponents get tougher you will have to hit the endzone and cut out as much time as you can, but never ever risk your opportunity to score.

Scoring can be the the fine line between a loss or a win, so always assume your opponent is struggling against your defense to the point that they don’t score at all, don’t be the gamer that loses to least yardage gained and be the player who wins from hitting that end-zone with another booty call.

    Harmonix Working on Smartphone Apps

A little over a month ago, Rock Band and Dance Central creator, Harmonix, trademarked the name VidRhythm. However, the studio left fans wondering what this mystery project could be. Finally, CEO Alex Rigopulos has shed some light on the project, revealing that it’s an iOS app.

Harmonix co-founder and CEO Alex Rigopulos recently told Gamasutra, “I can’t say anything yet about what [VidRhythm] is, but in parallel with all these huge console game productions we have underway, we’re commencing our first iOS development project.”

Rigopulos later added, “We think there are a lot of creative opportunities [with smartphones] that we haven’t really been able to focus on yet. So we’re looking forward to doing more in that space.”

Smartphones definitely are a easy and quick way for developers to rake in some cash. Although I can’t help but feel a little uneasy as a upcoming game designer about all of these major publishers with their billion dollar budgets getting their fat, sticky fingers all over my entry way into the gaming industry and re-arranging my CD and Blu-Ray collection.
